Ingredients Serves 8

  • Meat, Poultry & Seafood
  • 800 grams fresh mullet fillets
  • Vegetables & Fresh Produce
  • 5 pieces lemons, juice only
  • 3 pieces spring onions, chopped finely
  • 1 pieces small cucumber chopped into bite-size pieces
  • 2 pieces tomatoes, chopped
  • ยฝ pieces green or yellow pepper, chopped
  • Oils, Sauces & Condiments
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • Dairy & Alternatives
  • 1ยฝ cup lite coconut cream

Method

Step 1

Rinse the fish and cut into cubes.

Step 2

Place in a shallow dish and cover with the lemon juice.

Step 3

Leave to marinate for at least 1 hour in the fridge.

Step 4

Drain off the lemon juice.

Step 5

Add the spring onions, cucumber, tomatoes, pepper, lite coconut cream and water.

Step 6

Season with pepper and mix well.

Step 7

Transfer to a serving bowl, cover and chill before serving.
