Ingredients

  • Canned tomatoes1 x 440g can
  • Tomato puree, salt reduced2 tablespoons
  • Tomato sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper
  • Sugar1 teaspoon
  • Garlic, crushed1 clove
  • Fresh parsley, chopped2 tablespoons
  • Medium onion, finely chopped1
  • Chopped green capsicum1/4 cup
  • Olive oil2 tablespoons
  • Beef mince500g
  • Bay leaf1
  • Dry fettuccine450g
  • Parmesan cheese, grated5 tablespoon

Cooking Instructions

Heat oil in large saucepan. Add onion, green pepper, garlic and cook until golden.

Add meat and cook until brown.

Add all other ingredients except for noodles and parmesan cheese. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes.

Lower heat, cover and simmer gently 2 - 2 1/2 hours.

Cook fettuccine according to directions on packet. Drain fettuccine, pour into serving dish and cover with the meat sauce.

Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
